He graduated from the University of Malaya with honours in 1993 and continued to attain Masters in Law (LLM). He was called to the Bar in Malaya in 1994.

Recognised as a shining star in Messrs Cheang & Arif, Ramesh was asked to join Chellam Wong in 1999 as a partner, which to the benefit of Chellam Wong, he did.

He too prioritises personal attention to his clients and strives to make himself available to them in their time of need, whenever that may be. This distinguishes Chellam Wong from other firms.
